We went on a great hike up Perry Canyon to the old mines. It's a steady climb, but not to bad. It's mostly shaded and beautiful this time of year with everything green and the rushing water. U p at the mines we saw a bridge that crossed the river so we took it and the trail headed down the canyon across the side of the mountain, after a while the trail pretty much ended and we bushwacked it across the side of the mountain for about an hour. We finally made it down with only one close encounter with a rattle snake and Sydney falling down the hill on sharp rocks. It was quite an adventure! The kids did great and we had a blast.
